Album Review :: Kinetic Stereokids, "Kid Moves"

A newish album review was up last week at Stereo Subversion. This one is for Kinetic Stereokids, Kid Moves. Eh. Good ideas, poor follow-through. It holds the title of "the only album I've ever listened to that gave me a headache whenever I listened to it from start to finish." Curious?

I like reviews, they remind of my youth, being a little kid and thinking the world consisted of the small town I roamed everyday. Than I grew up and realized...all that time I knew nothing, I'd never been outside city limits, so how could I assess the world on four blocks. Present tense...they've never played an instrument (at least in a legitimate band), so why does their word hold supreme! It's like getting a wrap-up of Paris by a 5 year-old who only knows his friend 'Paris' down the street. No thanks!
